The BTWHS Full Orchestra is comprised of approximately 65 students, from both band and orchestra departments. The Full Orchestra is directed by both David Large and Luis Martinez.

Orchestral groups at BTW are directed by David Large and consist of 3 performing ensembles:

Varsity:

This is an auditioned group of advanced students.

Junior Varsity:

This group is comprised of Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors.

Chamber Ensembles:

Duets, Trios, Quartets & Quintets comprise the various Chamber Ensembles.

The orchestras and ensembles perform in many district and non-district functions. These students also participate in the TMEA All City, Region & All- State Competition and the UIL Solo & Ensemble Competition.
