The Entertainers is a three cluster musical theater
ensemble.
Students audition in the Spring to be in this ensemble.
All students perform in a Fall studio showcase and a full musical
theatre production in the Spring as well as other community
presentations. Students who have chosen the musical theatre emphasis
track may audition for colleges in Senior Showcase for musical theatre
and partake in NFAA YoungArts Presidential Scholar Competition as a
musical theatre registrant in the Fall of their senior year.
Musical Theater Emphasis
(MT)
Beginning Fall 2007, students may
register for enrollment in the MT Emphasis. The MT Emphasis is
available to those students already enrolled in the Entertainers
Ensemble for 2007/08.
Here are s a brief description of the requirements for the MT emphasis:
- Grades 9 & 10: students take classes in their
cluster
- Grades 11& 12: students take the musical theatre
class, one class in their cluster, and one class out of their cluster
(from the list of classes below). If their schedule permits, it is
recommended that students take more than one class in their own

conference with their Cluster Coordinator; they do not audition for the
class.
